Cator Estate, Blackheath, London
The Cator Estate Executive Residence is a luxurious, inspiring retreat tailored for a dynamic London executive. We designed a complete reconfiguration of the internal architecture, creating three elegant new bathrooms and a modern kitchen, alongside the design and specification of bespoke furniture and features. The front of the house was opened with full-width glazing to connect the interior to the garden and bring natural light deep into the principal living spaces, while a bespoke built-in aquarium was introduced as a striking focal point within the living area. What had previously been a compartmentalised series of rooms was transformed into an open, inviting environment with a harmonious flow between spaces. Every element, from the spatial planning to the bespoke finishes, was carefully considered to ensure the home is both visually refined and highly functional for everyday life. We oversaw the project throughout, working closely with the builders and specialist trades to ensure the quality of execution matched the ambition of the design, resulting in a home that feels calm, elegant and effortlessly liveable.
